Crazy by itself. But even crazier when I realize: I don’t even have a DVD player in my home anymore.

Here’s a rock poster for my old college band Jazzin’ Hell from back in the day… I’m going to guess this one’s from around 1986.  I’m pretty sure we invented casio punk.
Fun fact:  When Dinosaur changed their name to Dinosaur Jr. the Philistines changed their name to The Philistines Jr.
And look who’s opening up… a little known local band called Phish.

Our old band played with phish. They watched our set, we skipped theirs.

I want to stress the importance of being young and technical. Young people are just smarter. Why are most chess masters under 30? I don’t know. Young people just have simpler lives. We may not own a car. We may not have family. Simplicity in life allows you to focus on what’s important.
